Full methodology & rubric →Missing data is never a penalty
Unknown fields drop out of the denominator instead of scoring zero. Low coverage means we need insiders to fill the gaps — not that the company is weak.
Compare inside a cohort, not across
Scale and efficiency metrics structurally favour later-stage companies, so ranks are given per cohort. A growth-stage 80 and an early-stage 60 are not the same measurement.
Alpha — expect movement
Weights and underlying data are still being tuned, so positions shift between editions and some fields aren't independently verified. Every fact links to its source; check anything a decision rests on.
A company missing from the index?
The index only covers companies we've researched, so absence means nobody has done the work yet — not that a company scored badly. Nominate one and the community will research it against the same rubric. Nominating never buys a better score, and there are no paid placements.
Disclaimer: some data is company-claimed (◆) or third-party estimated (~) and not independently verified; provenance labels ship with every score. Scores are an editorial synthesis of joining value — not investment or employment advice. Found a data error? Tell us.
